Basic information for pet sitting

Cancellations and Changes to Service
Please provide 48 hours advance notice when canceling or changing your reservation, including early returns. Any cancellations after 48 hours will be charged $50.00.

Client Interview

New Client (Free interviews) 

The first interview would be held at least 7 days prior from service date. This will be a meet and greet for you to inquire about anything you may be interested in. If you have decided that day that you would like us to be your pet's care provider, all paper work can be filled out and payment can be set up.

A second interview may be necessary. We will need to be reacquainted with your pet and the property. This meeting should be held no later than 7 days prior to services needed. At this time we will also collect key and payment is due. 

Repeat Clients : A 15 minutes re consultation may be required to update information.

Holiday Fees
An additional fee of $8 per visit will be added for major holidays, including New Years Day, Easter, Independence Day, Memorial day, Labor day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, & Christmas Day.

Inclement Weather
Extreme weather conditions present a unique problem when visits are scheduled. Visits may be delayed due to unsafe driving conditions and pets that are sick or in need of medication will receive priority scheduling during these times. All Pets will be serviced it just may not be at the scheduled time.

Daily dog walks will be canceled on days the federal government closes. Refunds or credits will be issued for those missed walks.

Keys
We require two working sets of keys to your home at the time of consultation, one for your sitter and one for the office.

Reservations
Please make reservations 7 days prior to services needed. You may book up to 1 month in advance and consultation will take place 7 days before depature time. You may want to book holiday times early, as slots fill up fast.

Payment for Services
Payment is due at time of 2nd consultation.

We accept Visa, Master Card, Amex, Discover, Pay-Pal, Cash and Checks. Checks returned for any reason will result in a $30 return check fee.

Plant Watering

We will water your plants at a charge of .50cents per plant after the first 5. We are not responsible for plants that die. We will do our best to water your plants per your directions.

Security Systems
Our pet sitters are familiar with most types of security systems. We will review your system with you at our initial client consult. Please do not give us your master code but setup a unique code for our use while caring for your pet. We will not watch your pet if you have other people coming and going from the location unless you sign a waver stating "We will not be held responsible for your home." This is because we can not assure that the persons coming and going will secure your home. In that case it becomes a he said she said battle.

 Snakes: No Poisonous Snakes Please
